I would like to illuminate a field of three very large California Cypress trees. I am using MR16 light bulbs with 20 degree spreads. I was wondering if it is appropriate to light the one in the back with green light. In general when do you use colored light in your design?

I am not a fan of using colored MR16 lights for landscape lighting.  Have you considered using a MERCURY VAPOR UP LIGHT for your Cypress trees?  Mercury vapor lights are the prefered light source for landscape lighting professionals.
