I recently installed Juno Trac12 lighting under my kitchen cabinets but ran into a problem when I flipped on the switch. Apparently there was a significant voltage drop and only the first lamp lit with the next closest one being about euivalent to a lit cigarette. I installed a surface mount (150w/12v) electronic transformer and was wondering if switching to a magnetic transformer will resolve my problem. Here is my layout: dimmer switch> elect transformer> 6in. track> 6ft wire run> 4ft track> 4ft wire run> 6in track (total lamp wattage = 80w). Problem is the wall is covered and tiled so no changes to layout is really possible without major work. Thansk for your help!

Sounds like you have a problem with the wiring or the connection to the track and not the transformer.  Voltage drop usually happens as a result of too long of a wire run.  Are you using an electronic low voltage dimmer on your system?  If you have a volt meter I would check the reading starting at the transformer and at the fixture.
