Lightolier Lights 2000 series low voltage 120-volt existing contruction rough in housing with magnetic transformer and thermal protector for use in non-insulated ceilings, insulation may not be placed above or within 3" from the sides of the fixture. Its features include:

  • NAIL CLIPS secures junction box and plate ceiling
  • JUNCTION BOX 2" x 2" x 2 5/8" glavanized steel. UL LISTED for 60 degree celius supply wire. Intergal cable clamps permit attachment for nonmetalic Romex® or armored cable wihtout need of additional connectors
  • SOCKET HOUSING impact extruded aluminum, with lamp adjustment assembly allows vertical or horizontal adjustment.
  • SOCKET field replaceable, two pin socket, pre-wired with leads to junction box.
  • TRANSFORMER outboard mounted, magnetic, 120V primary, nominal 12V secondary. Removeable from below.
  • THERMAL PROTECTOR meets NEC and UL requirements.
  • MOUNTING RING galvanized steel. Accommodates existing ceilings up to 2" thick, attaches securely to any type of ceiling material without tools using (3) mounting straps provided. Push-in/twist out clips hold reflector flush to ceiling, includes adhesive backed aperture template.
