  • 6" Insulated Ceiling Recessed Remodel Housing
  • For use in insulated ceilings
  • For use in shallow ceilings

  • For use in insulated ceilings where 2" x 6" joist construction is used.

  • Integral thermal protector guards against overlamping.
  • Fixed socket bracket assures consistent lamp position.
  • Junction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has seven 1/2" knockouts with true pry-out slots.
  • Plaster frame includes locking screw for hanger bars and cutouts for crimping bar hangers in position with pliers.
  • Pre-installed, captive bar hangers allow housing to be positioned at any point within a 24" joist span. Score lines provided for easy field installation. Bar hangers can be repositioned without tools. Bar hangers fit onto T-bar spline for quick alignment and and can be permanently secured with optional TB7 T-Bar clip.
  • Socket plug provides protection against paint overspray.

  • 5 1/2" Height allows use in 2" x 6" joist construction.
  • Housing adjusts for ceilings up to 1" thick.
  • Housing adjustment screws can be tightened with flat blade screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, wrench or nutdriver.
