1100 series universal, 120-volt new contruction rough in housing with thermal protection for non-insulated ceilings. A complete fixture consists of reflector trim and frame-in kit. Its features include:

  • 6 3/4" Aperture Incandescent Frame_In Kit
  • Mounting Frame: .036" galvanized steel. Accommodates all ceilings up to 1" thick; including existing or inaccessible areas. P1M version has 3/8"     deep integral plaster lip. Four slots are positioned 90 degree apart to simplify alignment, breakout section and anchor nails permit installation in existing     ceiling from below. Push-in/twisted-out rotoclips hold reflector flush to ceiling.
  • Junction Box: 4"x3"1/2x2", .063 galvanized steel, U.L. listed for maximum of 8 #12gauge 75 degree Celcius through branch circuit conductors (60     degree Celcius for end of run). Integral cable clamps permit attachment of nonmetallic 
    Romex® or armored cable without need of additional connectors.
  • Mounting Bars: .059" galvanized steel. 13" long bars extend to 27", rotatable and lockable, with integral T-bar tabs. Attaches to wood joist or T-bar     ceilings without need of accessories.
  • Socket Housing: impact extruded aluminum or galvanized steel.
  • Thermal protector: meets NEC and UL requirements. Insulation must be kept 3" away from fixture sides and wiring compartment and must not be     placed above fixture in a manner which will entrap heat.
