We are about to redo our kitchen ceiling. It will change from a 1970's low drop down ceiling to a sloped ceiling. We would like to put recessed lights in the new ceiling. However, I don't like the large 6" trims for the 'sloped ceiling' recessed lights. Is there an adapter that can be placed inside a recessed light so that we could control the lights direction and use regular baffle recessed lights? I want to do this from within the recessed area and don't want an eyeball hanging out of the recessed light. Is there any such option? If not, are there recessed lights that are for sloped ceilings that are smaller than 6"?Thank you

We do have some SMALL APERATURE recessed lights that would work well on a slightly sloped ceiling.  IF your slope is severe, unfortunately you will have to go with larger trims.

The HALO H1499RT/1420P SLOTTED MR16 TRIM is one option.  The other fixture that might work is the LITON LR965 MR16 ADJUSTABE TRIM.

Have you considered using a CHANDELIER or HANGING PENDANTS in the kitchen as well?  How about UNDERCABINET LIGHTING FIXTURES?
