I want to use clear rope lights along the edge of my driveway and to border my entranceway to my house. I plan to install outdoor GFCI weather proof metal boxes 12" above ground per code. Questions: 1 What is the maximum run - 200''?? 2. How many feet of rope light can be carried on one 30 amp circuit using 12/3 gage wire? 3. Do you have any timer/control boxes that could be used in an outdoor setting like my landscape watering system controller? Do you know where I might find such a controller/timer? Thanks

Sounds like a good plan.  The maximum length is 200'' of 3/8" rope light per power feed.  12 gauge wire is only rated for 20 amps.  You can run roughly 350 feet of rope light per 20 amp circuit.  We have a 15 amp timer that is designed for outdoor use.
