I am helping with the installation of a multi zone ( 60 lamps)low voltage (12 volt) halogen landscape lighting system for a friend. We would like to be able to remotely (wireless )turn the lights on and off in zones and also dim them. We are experimenting with multiple transformers, no problem with dusk to dawn or simple on/off but not having any luck in remote dimming, do you have any suggestions ?

FOCUS LIGHTING has transformers with built in dimmer controls.  The other option is to use a HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER and vary the taps to balance the light levels.

Frankly, you will have to have a seperate transformer for each zone if you intend to switch them seperately.
