outdoor stage lighting

I am designing an outdoor 'amphitheatre' that will look toward a small stage set on a dam. I need to ensure that I have the appropriate lighting for the stage and in relation to the audience. This is a volunteer based project and economies need to be considered. I was interested in the energy source being solar.

Typically solar lights are not powerful enough to flood a large area due to limited output and short duration times.  For those reasons, I would use several halogen bullet fixtures to flood the stage area.  It will take multiple fixtures to accomplish your goals.
