metal halide vs high pressure sodium outdoor light

which lights would I get the maxium coverage & brightness for a large backyard ( 175 watt metal halide or 175 watt high pressure sodium )

Metal halide fixtures produce a nice white light which has good color rendering.  Sodium lights are more efficient but produce a undisirable yellow colored light.  It makes it hard to distinguish colors.  I would go with the metal halide fixture!
