Low Voltage Connector Instructions

  1. Connect the low voltage power supply cable to the terminals on the power console box and turn on.
  2. Disassemble the connector by removing the phillips-head screw.
  3. Inspect the connector to ensure the prongs are straight. NOTE: if the prongs are bent, straighten them with pliers.
  4. Place the small fixture cable in the small section of the connector and press firmly into place. 
  5. Place the supply cable (2 or 3 wire cable) in the large section of the connector and press firmly into place. The bottom part of the connector is double sided and reversible to accommodate 2 or 3 wire cable. See figure 2 below.
  6. Place the top section of the connector over the bottom section, making sure the fixture wire groove on the top matches the fixture wire groove on the bottom. See Figure 2 below.
  7. Assemble the connector by tightening the phillips-head screw. NOTE: Make sure the metal prongs in the connector pierce both sides in the supply and fixture cable. Each fixture should light as the prongs pierce the supply cable.
