I am trying to design an outdoor lighting system that will light the outside of the house (the walls in front) The sidwalk is very close to the house(2.5 feet) so what kind of light would spread far enough to light the wall and yet go up high on the same wall. Should I use a rectangular fixture or should I use the roung bullet lights? What is the angle of disbursed light from the fixture? What wattage should I expect to use to gauge the transformer? What is your least expensive up light for trees. I am not interested in fancy metals, just something simple that the lawnmower will not eat.thank you

The BULLET SHAPED LOW VOLTAGE UP LIGHTS (50 watt) have more punch as far as throwing light, but don't do as well in short wide throws.  Since your sidewalk is so close to the house, I would go with a RECTANGULAR LOW VOLTAGE WALL WASHER FIXTURE (35 watt) for even illumination on the house. You should use 12/2 GAUGE LOW VOLTAGE WIRE with no more than 100 watts per 100' home run back to the transformer.  As far as the transformer, I like the TECHLIGHT 600 POWER SUPPLY for the price.
