Hello: I have a client interested in placing "rope lighting" along the inside of crown moulding in their living room. The house is "upscale" and I''m interested in finding a premium grade rope light that could be installed with corner connectors, hardwired and dimable. I''m also interested in rope light that doesn''t emit "streaked" lighting which I think is typical of "clear" ropes. I''ve seen opaque white ropes for sale but not seen them in use. Do these opaque ropes solve this problem? Thank you, Bob Booher

Yes, opaque rope lights have a very smooth light didtribution without all the streaks created by clear light rope.  If you are looking for a commercial grade rope light, take a look at the LED rope light solution.
