Can I really dim a halogen light bulb?

A 120V QUARTZ HALOGEN LAMP can be dimmed with a regular incandescent dimmer. A LOW VOLTAGE HALOGEN such as a MR11, MR16 or PAR36 lamp requires a MAGNETIC LOW VOLTAGE DIMMER or an ELECTRONIC LOW VOLTAGE DIMMER. See our full selection of LUTRON LIGHTING CONTROLS!
