Can these be hardwired and if so, can I wire two to the same switch?
Sure, these fluorescent lights can be hard wired to the same switch. In fact, these Alkco fluorescent lights have a buit in switch that will allow you to control them individually or collectively with a wall switch. In other words, once the wall switch is on sending power to the lights, you can switch off one or both of your lights if desired from the light fixture.

I have an outdoor awning that I want to light up using lighting mounted to the building then casting light up into the awning. Any suggestion on where I can find this type of lighting?
This is typically done using FLUORESCENT LIGHTING FIXTURES It may take several fixtures depending on the size of your awning.
We also have longer FLUORESCENT SIGN LIGHTING FIXTURES as well. These produce more light and would require fewer fixtures.

We have a room that is about 50 foot square, and the ceiling is about 15 foot high. Could you tell me how many 2 X 4 three bulb fixtures would be needed to light this area? Thank You, Wm. ''Bill'' Noble
Well that depends on what you are doing in this room. I assume by your description that we are taking about a room that is 50' x 50' or 2500 square feet.
If that is the case, I would mount the PARABOLIC LAY-IN LIGHTING FIXTURES in rows approximately 8' to 10' apart in a uniform pattern. This will give you a tremendous light level for just about any task.
Thank you for contacting Residential Landscape Lighting & Design for your lighting question. We look forward to receiving your order and free to call us at 800-239-2939 should you have any other questions.

Hi: I''m looking for flourescent fixtures for an outdoor area, and need two dual fixtures of this kind in a brownish or dark finish. Wattage 13 and up.Can you recommend? Thanks
The TECHLIGHT SRFPLSA-27 is a good little fluorescent flood fixture. You can get it in a bronze color and a glare shield as well. FYI - The picture has the wrong lamp, but the housing is the same. Thanks!
