My house will be built sometime this month, I ask my builder to install under cabinet lights in the kitchen, of course they will do it for a ridiculous price, I went to home depot and found halogen under cabinet lights for $19.99 ( 3 lights), how hard is it to install or prewire for this, I'm not handy but I'm willing to learn? Thanks

That depends on the type of UNDER CABINET LIGHTS that you are considering.  If they are PUCK LIGHTS with a transformer it is fairly basic and the lights come with instructions.  If it is a XENON UNDERCABINET LIGHT FIXTURE it will require 120-volt wiring back to a switch.  Did your builder provide the wiring?
