The EXPERT recommends taking a look at the spec sheet for this product, which can be found by following this link: http://www.rabweb.com/common/specSheet/index.php?product=QB1B. This Rab flood light is designed for use with a 75-watt halogen lamp.  If you want a lower wattage lamp, you can use a Lutron Diva dimmer control to lower the output of the fixture.  This not only extends lamp life, but saves energy as well.
