Hello, My husband and I are installing a new fence with a few corner columns. I would like to add gas lanterns on the posts, however am unclear as to how the gas runs to the post...is there more than one way to do this? I have looked at several sites, but do not see anything in regards to installation. Any information you can provide would be very helpful. Thank you, Suzy

I would contact a plumber fo a free estimate.  During that meeting you can have him explain the process and materials he will use.  Then you can decide whether this is something you are comfortable doing yourself.
