What is the difference between the LD SL-08 and the LD SL-08-AL? Is it the cover plate, bulb type, etc? I like the 28'' diameter for the light beam. Is it possible to get color samples in the grey family? I plan to order approximately 20 lights and want to get the correct color. Thanks.

The Focus SL08 series recessed step lights come in several material types.  The Focus SL08-BR is a cast brass model designed for heavy duty use or salt air environments.  The Focus SL08-AL is a residential grade step light made of cast aluminum.

The brass fixture is gold at first and then turns a nice golden brown after weathering outside.  The Aluminum model comes in several powder coat finishes.  For longevity and durability, I would go with the brass.
