Hello, I am interested in the focus direct burial transformers. But I''m not sure which ones would be best for my application. I think I need one 300 and one 600 watt transformer. On the 300 I will be running aprox. 250 watts (125X2)two low voltage lines from transformer. These lights will come on the same time via one hard wired switch. The 600 will be in a different location. It will have two separate groups of lights operated by two independant hard wired switches. Each group of lights will run approx. 250 watts (125X2).Two low voltage lines for each group. Hopefully you can give me the correct model numbers so I could order these units soon. Thanks, Kevin

Sounds like you have calculated your loads correctly.

The Focus direct burial transformers are good for areas where it is impossible to hide the equipment from view.  If at all possible, you should consider going above grade as they are easier to install and you have many more options.  Options like timers, dimmers, photocells and other means of regulation and control.

If that is not feasible, go with the grade level option.  Thanks for asking the question and shopping at Residential landscape lighting & Design.
