Low Voltage Lighting Short

My low voltage landscape lighting in the backyard will work fine for about a couple of weeks and then the bulbs will not come on even though they are still good. If you jostle the light, the light will come on. Is there a substance that you can put on the bulb wires to make them conect better?

Sounds to me like you are using PAR36 lamps and the filaments are arching against the support posts.  When the light goes on the filament temporarily welds to the post and works for a while.  Then it breaks loose and goes off.  I would change the light bulbs.

It could also be a bad connection or socket in the fixture.  Take a look at our outddor PAR36 low voltage lighting kits for a complete solution.

Thanks for the question and we look forward to serving you.
