Can you plug more then 1 100ft string into one standard AC outlet? I assume each light is 5W so one string is 500W. I''m not sure if one AC plug can handle 1000+watts. Thank you, Sean

Yes! 1000 watts divided by 120 volts equals 8.33 amps.  You are good to go with your Christmas lighting plan.

I am interested in buying two strings of 100 socket string lights, but only need about 68 sockets for each application. Is it possible to cut off the remaining sockets. If so, what do I need to do to the exposed end? Thank you, Denise C.
