I run a nonprofit therapeutic riding center with this type of arena. I have two 60Amp panels I could pull from. I''m trying to put together a budget for the entire project. Can you give me an idea of typical conduit/wire size for a 240v installation (100'' runs)? Cost of wood poles? Thanks. Bryan, Executive Director for  www.rideon.org

You are looking at a total of 16,000 watts for this arena lighting package.  At 240 volts that equates to roughly 67 amps of total load.  I would run a 20 amp dedicated circuit to each of the poles using  #10 gauge wire.  Put all four circuits on a lighting contactor which will allow you to operate them with a single switch or time clock.

I do not know what the poles cost as we do not sell them.  Please let us know if you need additional information or design assistance.
