I'm considering putting a 6 light pole for a single tennis court. The size of the t. c. is 120 ft. x 60 ft. Can you tell me the ideal place to put the base of the light pole inside the court (ie. how many inches from the edge) and how will I run a 120 v. line going to 6 of them.

A SIX LIGHT TENNIS COURT LIGHTING SYSTEM is by far the best way to go in terms of light output and uniformity.  You may want to drop back from 1000-watt lamps to 400-watt lamps just so it isn't so bright.  The lights should be mounted at the edge of the slab approximately 5-6' back for the out of bounds line.  Center one on the net and split the difference for the others.  I would run a 1" PVC conduit from the electrical panel to three lights looped together.  Do the same for the other side.  You will need (2) 20-amp double pole breakers , #10 THHN wire, a LIGHTING CONTACOR and  TIME CLOCK to operate the 240-volt system system. If you want to add a plug on a pole for a ball machine, you will need another dedicated 20-amp 120-volt circuit run to that pole.  Please give us a call at 800-239-2939 for additional information.
