I'm looking at installing some 6" recessed cans in my kitchen. I'll be installing some HALO H7RICT cans. I'm tring to get the right trim and bulb size to use. I wanted a baffle trim and found something that said to use a 310P trim and a PAR30 bulb. I looked at this at the store and it looks too small for this housing. There is quite a gap around the bulb and trim. I was wondering if I could use a 410P trim and a PAR40 bulb, just as long as I stay withing the wattage limit.

If you are concerned about energy you should be using the HALO H7UICAT AIR SEAL HOUSINGS.

I prefer the HALO 410P BLACK BAFFLE TRIM or HALO 410W WHITE TRIM over the HALO 310P BLACK BAFFLE TRIM myself.
