I'd like to install minimum lighting for a multi-sport court that I have in my backyard. I have a 40 x 80 ft court laid out for full court basketball and volleyball. Can I use 2 lights mounted in the center just outside the volleyball poles?

Yes, these TENNIS 190 COURT POLES or SPORT COURT KIT lights mounted at center court will provide adequate illumination for your combination volleyball/basketball court.  We have both direct burial poles as well as those that require a concrete footing. You could offset them slightly to spread the light out if you wanted to.

If you are doing the work yourself, I would go with the direct burial pole.  You local rental center has a powered post hole auger that is perfect for drilling the foundation.

Contact Joe in customer service and he can provide you a customized quote.  You can even order a GFCI receptacle option if you need a plug near the court for a leaf blower.
