In ording this transformer, when asked for secondary circuit breakers for addtional $12.08, does that mean I will have to seperate connections so I can split my deck lighting system? Double connections? Also, I'm in need of aprox 200watts, is it oK for me to purchase the 300 for future addtions? What is the largest size wire this transformer will take? Will this transformer make any noise at all? I would like not to have any buzzing.Thank you for your quick response.

If you order the 300 WATT TRANSFORMER with one circuit breaker it will handle up to 300 watts or 25 amps of load.  This means you will need to split your lights into two home run wires using 12/2 CABLE and double lug them in the transformer wiring compartment.  Do not exceed 20 amps on 12/2 wire!

A better idea would be to purchase the 600 WATT TRANSFORMER giving yourself pleanty of room to add more landscape lighting.  You may want to add PATH LIGHTS, FOUNTAIN LIGHTS, HANGING LIGHTS, STEP LIGHTS and other cool lights.

These transformers are very quiet.
