Please confirm that this is a 120 volt lighting fixture. The mention of 12 V is confusing.Would it still be water resistent if the mounting shaft were not vertical, but was horizontal.I need to illuminat a sign on a post. So the fixture will not be far from the signboard. Can I get immediate dispersion of light, close to the end of the fixture. Thanks

This is a low voltage pin spot fixture that we use for illuminating fountains and sculptures from long throws.  If you are just highlighting a sign, I would keep in simple.

Take a look at the RAB SPOT LIGHT.  It is small, inexpensive and a pretty good looking fixture.  We also have decorative GOOSENECK LIGHTS designed for sign lighting.  And finally, we have some commercial grade FLUORESCENT SIGN LIGHTS that might be of interest.

We look forward to assisting you here at Residential landscape lighting & Design.  Feel free to call 800-239-2939 to discuss your options.
