Question about Techlight - Horse Track and Arena L

My outdoor arena is 150'x80'. I would like to install only two poles on the 150' side of the arena. Would two 400watt metal halides on each pole mounted at 17' high be suficient for horse jumping at night? Any suggestions?

Nope! It would be better if you used four 1000 WATT COMMERCIAL MH FIXTURES instaed of four 400 WATT MH FIXTURES.

Since you are only using four lights, I feel that you will need higher light levels for jumping safely at night.

Please contact Jeremy in customer service at 800-239-2939 for assistance on COMMERCIAL LIGHTING FIXTURES.  He can quote you the right forward throw 1000 watt metal halide fixtures with pole mount brackets.
