I am trying to replace a FireX ADC (model unknown) with the above unit. I am wondering whether it is compatible and will plug into the 3 prong connector that is currently in the ceiling? Are all the FireX connectors the same?? Thanks --- Larry

The EXPERT recommends taking a look at the spec sheet for this product, which can be found by following this link: Will your Firex smoke detector fit my existing 3 prong connector?.

The new FIREX SMOKE AND C02 ALARM will come with the appropriate connectors.  It is just a matter of plugging it in to the existing connector or changing to the new one.  Chances are that they are the same.
