How in the world do you wire a door jamb switc?

Bring the hot wire from the power supply to the light fixture.  Install one 14/2 romex from the DOOR JAMB SWITCH to the light fixture.  Wire the hot or black wire through the 14/2 romex and the switch will either entergize the light or cut power to the light if the door is opened or closed.

Instructions do come with the switch to insure a safe installation.  Be sure to turn off the power before installing or contact a qualified electricaian should you need further assistance.
