Hi,

I have one Techlight 1000 watt 20 foot tennis court light.  I would like to connect it at 240 volts with a switching.  Do I have to use  a contactor for the switching or are there any kind of switches that are for this type of application?  If there are could you please reccomend one.

Thank You..

You need to pick up a double pole switch.  This will allow you to control the light without having to use a lighting contactor.  Check out the Leviton 1202-2 double pole, single thow switch.  We do not currently carry that switch, but would be happy to order it for you.
