I HAVE 6 KICHLER 35W SPOT LIGHTS AND 20 11W PATH LIGHTS WHAT SIZE TRANSFORMER DO I NEED AND DO I NEED DUAL TERMINALS? I HAVE A TOTAL OF AROUND 150 FEET OF WIRE TO RUN . ALSO WHAT GAGE WIRE SHOULD I USE AND DO YOU SELL THE TRANSFORMER I WOULD NEED THAT COMES WITH A TIMER? THANKS!!! P.S. ON THE SPOT LIGHTS (KICHLER)IT STATES ON THE BOX 300 WATT MAXIMUM TRANSFORMER (25 AMP)

You will need a 600-WATT TRANSFORMER to run your Kichler lighting system.  We do have many transformers with timers for you to choose from.  The TECHLIGHT LVE600MT is the least expensive we have posted. Please take a look at our DESIGNING LOW VOLTAGE LIGHTING SYSTEM PAGE for wiring illustrations.

OK, let's do the math on your lighting system.

35w x 6 = 210 watts

11w x 20 = 220 watts

That's a total wattage of 430 watts and a total amperage of 36 amps.  You will need to split that up into two home runs using 12/2 DIRECT BURIAL CABLE back to the transformer not exceeding 215 watts per run or 18 amps per wire.
