What does continuous ventilation mean? Does it stay on all the time? Can a timer switch be use with this unit?

The Panasonic FV05-VF1 exhaust fan is a commercial grade fan that is designed to be left on if necessary.  They can most definately be used with a wall timer switch or a standard wall switch.
