What would be the easiest way if I wanted to turn my recessed lighting that is over my kitchen island into pendant lighting. The pendants I have found have a smaller base than the hole than the recessed light.

Of course, the most attractive way would be to patch the ceiling. When that is not desired, we recommend using a ceiling medallion or perhaps adding a wood trim on the ceiling to cover the holes. This board could be cut to reflect the shape of the island.
