I plan to install 12v lighting along my driveway and would like to have a motion sensor at either end of the string to turn them all on for a few minutes. What do you recommend?

I would recommend that you install a single line voltage motion sensor which controls the transformer and the lights.  We have long range models and short range models depending on your driveway configuration. You cannot have a three way motion sensor or more than one device operating a switch leg at a time.  Click Here to see an example of the device.
