illuminating signs

We have a store front sign aprox. 3'h X 9"w. Our original plan was to use gooseneck fixtures to light our sign, however we descoverd that above our sign behing the stucco wall is a 2' cement support beam. So now our thought is lighting it from the bottom similar to a billboard.Do you have any ideas for solving our problem?
