This is a low voltage switch that can be used in combination with a transformer and lighting contactor to control any kind of light.  It is not designed for use without a low voltage power supply.

Let me give you an example.  You have a series of cabinet doors witha single light source in the space.  Place one of these Edwards 45 switches on each door connected to a lighting contactor.  When the switch is activated it entergizes the coil on the the contactor which turns on the light.
