I am switching all my bulbs over to compact fluorescent or tube fluorescent lighting. I want to install dimmer switches to them. Do I need to install a special ballast to the tubes, and are there special dimmer switches for compact fluorescent bulbs? Thank you in advance for your help. Dan Swim

The only way to dim a fluorescent lamp requires the use of an electronic or magnetic dimming ballast.  Give me a call at 800-239-2939 to discuss your application.
