Rope lighting.

My husband wants to know what the brightness of your rope lights are in "candle power". We are wanting to install crown molding in our livingroom with a light source hidden in the molding. Can you help us?

Our rope lights are rated at 5.5 watts per foot.  I am not sure of the actual candle power. The pearl white rope light is good for creating a smooth wash of light without hot spots from the individual lamps.  It is perfect for use behind a crown molding as a mood lighting source.
