Rope light for tray ceiling

Could you please tell me how I would install the rope lighting to go with my crown molding on my tray ceiling that I am also installing or is there a different type of light that goes with crown moldings on my tray ceiling?Thanks,Lourdes

I would use the 120 volt pearl white light rope for your tray ceiling.  The bigger the space you provide behind the moulding the more attactive the lighting will be.  I would allow at least three inches minimum for a smooth even distribution.
