Rope Light

Can rope light be connceted to a wall switch? I want to take a two outlet 110 Wall socket, change it to a one socket and one switch, and wire the rope light chord into the switch. Can I do this?ThanksDoug

Of course you can control LIGHT ROPE with a COMBINATION WALL SWITCH.  You can even use a DIMMER CONTROL if you want.  Using a DIMMER SWITCH not only allows you to control the light levels, it also greatly improves the average lamp life and saves energy.
