Does the Alkco unercabinet lights HG Series contain a transformer in the unit - is this correct? thanks

Yes, the ALCKO HALOGEN UNDER CABINET LIGHT does have a small electronic transformer that powers the lights.  This is a great little kitchen lighting fixture that has a built in high/low switch to save energy and extend lamp life.
