I want to line the roof of my office with c9 lights, I need to know if I buy a bulk coil, how many lights can I run in a string, what the electrical outlet requirements be, how many lights or feet per outlet? I really have know clue about the electrical part of this task would be. I have no problem attaching the clips, design the run, but I am concerned that my electrical needs will exceed what I have available. By the way, overloading would result in what?

You can run 840 lights per run.  That trnaslate into a 20 amp circuit for every two runs.  If you overload the circuit the breaker should trip.
