Low watt & motion detector

I have installed rope light under some vanity cabinets, but want these controlled by a motion switch. I tried a regular Leviton motion switch, but the lights stay on and then get brighter when motion is detected...I want them to completely turn off. Your thoughts???

Any of these occupancy sensors will do the trick.
