STP 39-7.13-7 and STP 39-7.18-11The digits 7 and 11 seems to refer to the wall thickness. I am used to SI units and therefore would appreciate if you could inform what wall thickness 7 and 11 means (7 and 11 mm? or 7/12 and 11/12 of a one inch?). Any how regardless of this I guess that 11 signifies a thicker wall than 7 - but according to your information the weight og STP 39-7.13-7 is 500 lbs i.e greater than for STP 39-7.18-11 345 lbs, despite the bigger wall thickness of the latter. Thank you in advance. Yours SincerelyEilif Svensson

The number 7 and 11 are wall gauges. Gauges are thicker for small numbers and thinner for large numbers. The 11 gauge wall is 1/8" thick and the 7 gauge wall is 3/16" thick.
