I'm making path lights out of concrete mushrooms cast in 2 pieces. The stem has a pipe in the middle for the wire to run up. I need a flat light to attach to the underside of the mushroom cap. The cap (with a groove for the wire) will set on the stem.I need 6 lights. What do you suggest I need--from transformer to some sort of light? Thanks.

We have many 12 volt sockets that would work for your custom lights.  This side mount socket could be easily attached to the ppipe or to a small block of wood that you could cast into the bottom of mushroom your caps. You might want to install several per fixture depending on the scale of your lights and to minimize unsightly shadows that may unexpectantly appear.  You could also use a small run of light rope under the cap that would be a more even form of lighting.  Light rope comes in both 120 volt  and 12 volt.  I prefer the pearl white color.  If you decide to go with a 12 volt system you will need a transformer and wire to complete the job.
