Hello, hope you can help me out. I'm looking for suggestions on dimmable accent lighting. These lights will be place in small kithcen cabinets with glass doors. I'm looking for something that's dimmable and needs no transformer. I'm thinking clear 1/2" rope lighting, but the LED aren't dimmable. Any suggestions? Been getting quotes from elctricians for puck lights, but I feel the cabinet area is too small and they burn too hot. Please help!! Bob & Kathy Nisivocci

Standard incandescent ROPE LIGHTS are perfect for lighting cabinets.  They require no transformer and can be dimmed witha standard DIMMER CONTROL SWITCH.  Hiding the power cords can sometimes be tricky.  I would go with the rope lighting.
