I live in a house in a busy Christmas/Holiday light neighborhood. I am interested in the spool of lights you sell, but I would like a little more information about them.I am not quite sure I am understanding it right. It says a max. of 7 amps or 840 watts... what does this mean? Does the spool just come with the wire and I put the lights on? If so, how is that done? Also, I am open to any recommendations you may have for me. I am hoping to get (and tell me if I am way off base on this) about 200 feet of a continious strand that will only plug in once. Can this be done? Thanks for your help. :)

The maximum draw for the wire is 7 amps; that is a standard rating used by electricians, but the maximum wattage is an easier number to use. A maximum of 840 watts per run means that you may only put a number of bulbs whose total wattage is equal to or less than 840 watts. If you have 5 watt bulbs, then you may put up to 168 bulbs on one string. If you have 7 watt bulbs, then you may put up to 120 bulbs on one string.

I am sorry, but a 200 ft string is only possible with 24" spacing between bulbs, and then you must purchase everything in bulk. I recommend that you buy two strings of 100ft C7's. The item number is XC710012. You will also need the C77 light bulbs.
