I would like to hardwire one unit into the wall, then link 4 additional fixtures. The longest span between any two fixtures will be roughly 10 feet. Is this possible? Can I link the fixtures using standard romex?

Yes, you can link XENON LIGHTS using romex wire as long as you do not exceed the capacity of the wire.

If your fixtures require a remote TRANSFORMER, you should install one wire from each light directly back to the transformer.  This is called HOME RUN wiring and it will prevent voltage drop problems or differences in the light output between fixtures.

If your XENON LIGHT STRIPS have built-in transformers, there will be no reason that you can't just link them together.
